A few steps need an extra idea, such as a digit locked into one line of a box, or a matched pair of candidates. This label is provisional: it reflects the solving techniques the puzzle needs, not how many digits are given.
How to play
- Every row, column and 3 × 3 box holds the digits 1–9 exactly once.
- Select a cell, then use the number chest or your keyboard. Given digits are fixed.
- Notes are pencil marks. A digit that repeats in a row, column or box is flagged straight away, and Hint reveals one correct digit.
Keyboard: arrow keys move, 1–9 enter a digit, N toggles notes, Backspace erases, Ctrl+Z undoes.
